주변 지역(Evaluating a Neighborhood)
1. 집들이 잘 관리되었는가? (Are the houses well taken care of?)
2. 이웃은 좋은가? (Is the neighborhood pleasant to look at?)
3. 쇼핑센터, 교회, 극장, 오락시설 등에 가기 편리한가?
(Is it convenient to shops, church, theatres 문 recreational facilities?)
4. 직장과의 거리는? ( Is it close enough to(or far away from) where you work?)
5. 도로에 주차하기 좋은가? (Is there adequate street parking?)
6. 출 퇴근 조건은 마음에 드는가? (What are the commuting condition like?)
7. 대중교통수단은 이용하기 좋은가? (Is it accessible to public transportation?)
8. 어린이들이 있다면, 가까이 같이 놀만한 아이들이 있는가?
(If you have kids, will there be other kids nearby to play with?)
9. 폭우에 침수된 적이 있는가? (Is there any history of flooding during storms?)
10.주변에 개발예정지나 버려둔 건물이 있는가?
(Are there any nearby vacant lots or abandoned building that are ripe for development?)
11.주변에 공장, 고속도로 또는 소음이나 공해의 근원지가 있는가?
(Are there nearby factories, express way(or main road) or other potential sources of noise or pollution?)
12.라디오, TV, Mobile phone 수신 상태는 좋은가?
(Is there decent Radio, TV and Mobile phone?)

외관(Exterior-General)
1. 자동차 진입로와 보행로의 포장상태는 좋은가?
(Are the surfaces of the driveway and sidewalk in good condition or will they need work?)
2. 하수도는 건물 기초에서 4피트 이상 떨어져 있는가?
(Does the drainage system carry water off the roof and at least four feet away from the foundation?)
3. 옥외 전등은 출입문마다 있는가? (Are there outdoor lights at all of doors?)
4. 가스, 전기, 수도계량기는 집 밖에 있는가? 아니면 옮길 수 있는가?
(Are the gas, power and water meters on the outside of house? If not, can they be moved out?)
5. 제초기, 정원용구를 넣어둘 창고는 있는가?
(Is there a storage space for the lawn mower and garden tools?)

내부(Interior-General)
1. 침실은 거실과 떨어져 있는가?
(Are the bedrooms separate from the living areas so that people can sleep while other activities are going on in the house?)
2. 침실의 넓이는 적당한가?
(Are the bedrooms large enough for the people who will use them?)
3. 가진 가구 이외에 집에 맞게 더 구입해야 하는가?
(Will the furniture you own or intend to buy go with the house?)

벽장, 창고(Closet, Storage)
1. 현관문 가까이 벽장이 있는가? (Is there closet near the front door?)
2. 방들에 충분한 벽장이 있는가?
(Are there enough adequately sized closets in the bedrooms)
3. 창고로 쓸 곳이 충분한가? (Are there enough storage areas on other rooms of the house?)
4. 창고가 모자란다면 전용할 곳이 있는가?
(If there is a shortage of storage areas, are there areas that can be converted to storage?)

주방(Kitchen)
1. 식당 또는 식사장소가 부엌과 붙어있는가?
(Is the kitchen adjacent to the dining room or eating area?)
2. 식품창고, 청소, 취사장 작업공간은 편리한가?
(Is the work triangle formed by the pantry, clean up and cooking areas convenient?)
3. 조리대는 충분한가? (Is there enough counter space?)
4. 주방용품을 보관해 둘 곳은 충분한가? (Is there enough storage space for kitchen utensils?)
5. 부엌기구는 교체할 필요가 있는가? (Will the Kitchen appliances need to be replaced?)
6. 세탁기, 건조기는 부엌과 가까운 곳에 있는가?
(Is there space for a washer and dryer near the kitchen or bedroom?)

목욕실(Baths)
1. 욕실은 가족에게 충분한가? (Are there enough baths for your family?)
2. 욕실 사용이 편리하고 충분한가?
(Are all the bathrooms conveniently located and are they large enough?)
3. 욕실 주방기구 등이 녹슬거나 흠집이 있는가?
(Are there stains or chips in the bathroom and/or kitchen fixture?)
4. 물소리, 공기 빠지는 소리 등이 없이 화장실 수세작동이 잘 되는가?
(After the toilet flush, do the tank fill with water and then shut off without dripping water or hissing air?)
5. 싱크대와 세면대의 물은 잘 빠지는가?
(Do the drains in the sinks and basins empty quickly and completely?)

유지 체계(Support system)
1. 냉, 난방기구는 작동이 잘 되는가?
(Is the heating and cooling equipment in good running order?)
2. 벽과 지붕 천정 사이의 방음, 단열상태는 적절한가?
(Is there adequate insulation in the walls and attic?)
3. 냉, 난방기의 서비스계약은 있는가?
(Is there a service contract for the furnace and air conditioner?)
4. 자동 온도조절장치는 잘 작동되는가? (Do the thermostats work properly?)
5. 공급전력은 충분한가? (Is the power service enough for the house?)
세탁물건조기, 오븐, 온수가열에 최소 100암페어가 소요됨
(Power should be at least 100 ampere service with 220-240 volt circuits for clothes dryer, oven and water heater)
6, 각 방에 콘센트가 3m 마다 설치되어 있어야 충분하며 부엌에는 최소한 두개의 분리된 회로 소자로 여러개의 전열기를 동시에 사용 가능한가?
(Current power standards call for an outlet every 3m along all walls of every room. Kitchens should have at least two separate circuits feeding into them so that you can run your coffee pot and the toaster at the same time and not blow a fuse)
7. 온수가열기는 잘 작동되는가? 바꿀 필요가 있는가?
(Is the hot water heater in good working order? When will it need to be replaced?)
8. 수도꼭지마다 압력은 좋은가?(Is water pressure at the tap good? The water in a house should gush out every tap)
9. 시의 수도, 하수시설과 연결되었는가? 부패조(정화조)가 있는가?
(Is the house connected to municipal water and sewage system?)
10.부패조(정화조) 청소가 필요한가? 아니면 새것과 바꿀 필요가 있는가?
(Does the septic tank need draining? or will a new one be needed?)
11.식수 공급은 좋으며 잘 나오는가? (If there is a water supply well, is it working?)
